Our Passion

Confidence in riders is cultivated through understanding

At Evergreen Equine, I’m passionate about helping riders create a deeper connection with their equine companions. Our journey begins with a focus on education—insight into the biomechanics of both you and your horse. I believe that by developing a strong understanding of equine/rider biomechanics and foundational skills, you can confidently pursue any goal you set your sights on.

Managing common nervous thoughts is a priority at Evergreen Equine. Riders are equipped with tools to build their confidence, especially when tackling challenging exercises. After all, confidence is born from understanding, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My teaching style combines love, firmness, and fun, ensuring that each rider comprehends the necessary concepts to become the best partners for their equine friends. Discover the amazing potential within you and your horse (or an amazing lesson horse) at Evergreen Equine!

Kirstyn Iranshad

My love for horses began at a young age when I rode in my nana's rustic old barn, feeding carrots to every stall I passed. At the age of 8, my dad gifted me riding lessons, and my passion for horses only grew from there. I rode in lesson programs until I turned 18, at which point I started teaching lessons myself. I compete in the A-circuits and continue to expand my knowledge by attending local clinics and auditing every chance I get. My husband, Jordan, and our beloved dog, Nebula, reside in the Clackamas area.

Teaching has sparked a deep passion in me. At Evergreen Equine, I focus on helping riders understand the biomechanics of both themselves and their equine partners. A key aspect of my program involves teaching riders how to manage their often nervous thoughts and build their confidence, especially when facing challenging exercises. Confidence in riders is cultivated through understanding.
